The People Behind Every Fitting

Four people, four specialties, one studio on 17th Street.

How We Work Together

Different Roles, One Garment

A single alteration project usually passes through more than one set of hands. Assessment happens first, followed by pattern adjustments where needed, then the stitching itself, and finally a fitting to confirm the result matches what was discussed.

Splitting the work this way means each stage gets focused attention rather than being rushed through by one person handling everything alone.

Eleanor Voss

Master Tailor

Eleanor trained in structured tailoring and has spent much of her career focused on suit and coat construction. At the studio, she oversees fit adjustments on tailored garments and reviews complex restyling projects before work begins.

Alterations Specialist

Marcus handles a large share of the day-to-day resizing work, from hems and waistbands to sleeve adjustments. He also manages leather and specialty fabric repairs, which require different tools than standard woven materials.

Sofia Marchetti

Pattern Maker

Sofia works on the pattern side of restyling projects, translating a requested change, such as a shortened sleeve or a new neckline, into a plan the rest of the team can execute cleanly.
